Club Membership - (New Member)

To be accepted for Full membership in the Löwchen Club of America, applicant must be 18 years of age or older, must own or co-own a Löwchen, must agree to abide by the Constitution and By-laws of the Club, submit two letters of recommendation, and a signed Code of Ethics. All applications received without letters of recommendation or signed Code of Ethics will be returned. 

  • Single membership - $35.00
  • Family membership - $50.00
  • Associate Membership - $25 (Associate members have all rights and privileges of membership except the right to vote or hold office.)
  • Junior Membership - $.01 (Applicant must be 10 years of age to 18 years of age, must agree to abide by the Constitution, by-laws of the club, and submit a signed Code of Ethics. Junior members have all rights and privileges of membership except the right to vote or hold office.)
  • Foreign Membership - $50 - Applicant must be 18 years of age or older and reside outside the boundaries of the United States. Foreign members have all rights and privileges of membership except the rights to vote or hold office.

Complete the application signing both the application and the Code of Ethics. You will need to scroll down to hit the submit button. 

Please Note: The sponsors listed on the application will be contacted to confirm sponsorship. Please let your sponsors know that they will be contacted.

​Step 2:

After completing the application, you will be redirected to PayPal.com to make your payment.

Step 3:

After all of your application materials are complete, your name and membership type sought will be posted in the monthly Bylions newsletter for the membership comment period for 30 days.

​After 30 days, the board will vote on your membership application. You will be contacted when your application is posted in the Bylions and also after the board votes.

*Agreement to the Code of Ethics is a condition of ​membership.

The Löwchen Club of America was founded by Charles and Jane Cook and Robert and Carol Yhlen. Originally named the Little Lion Dog Club of America, the club’s initial mission was to create and maintain a breed registry for the Löwchen in the United States.
