My story..... Even as a child I had a love of anything with fur and four legs. Raised by two parents with open minds and a love of the outdoors it was fate that lead me in to the sport of dog showing and eventually breeding purebred dogs. After enjoying breeding and showing Shetland Sheepdog for 25 years I happened upon Lowchen. This delightful breed has stolen my heart and now some 12 years later I cannot imagine my life without them. The Löwchen Club of America was founded by Charles and Jane Cook and Robert and Carol Yhlen. Originally named the Little Lion Dog Club of America, the club’s initial mission was to create and maintain a breed registry for the Löwchen in the United States.
